Ensure Compliance with International Air Quality Standards
The AI-IAQ6-PH contributes to compliance with international air quality and green building standards, including:
- Leadership in Energy and Efficient Design (LEED): LEED certification is one of the most widely recognized green building rating systems worldwide. LEED emphasizes sustainable building practices and includes requirements related to indoor air quality. Monitoring the specified parameters can contribute to meeting LEED certification requirements for indoor environmental quality.
- WELL Standard: Introduced by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), the WELL building standard requires the measurement of at least 3 parameters to meet indoor air quality monitoring criteria.
PM2.5 or PM10
- Carbon dioxide
- Carbon monoxide
- Ozone
- Nitrogen dioxide
- Total VOCs
- Formaldehyde
The AI-IAQ6-PH enables monitoring of CO2, TVOC, and Particulate Matter (PM2.5, PM10) contributing positively to WELL building requirements.
- GRIHA: Green Rating Integrated Habitat Assessment (GRIHA) is used to rate green building projects in India. Our product range, including the carbon monoxide sensor supports users in ensuring compliance with GRIHA.
- Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM): BREEAM is another widely used green building certification system. It assesses various aspects of a building's sustainability performance, including indoor air quality. Monitoring parameters such as PM2.5, PM10, VOC, CO2, temperature, and humidity can contribute to meeting the indoor air quality requirements of BREEAM.
- ASHRAE Standards: The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) sets industry standards and guidelines for indoor air quality. Compliance with ASHRAE standards, such as ASHRAE 62.1 and ASHRAE 55, which focus on ventilation and thermal comfort respectively, can be supported by monitoring the critical IAQ parameters.
